I actually liked Saltburn. It is wildly uneven but I don’t mind that it’s derivative (it’s to The Talented Mr. Ripley what Cruel Intentions is to Dangerous Liaisons) and I really enjoyed the wild swings into satire.
LOL I watched is Christmas weekend, it certainly is something, and not what I was expecting. And man that grave scene, when it first started I was thinking, is he gonna do what I think he is, then holy shit he did it I howled with laughter. That said I did actually like the movie, also side note does Barry Keoghan…

There’s very much a reason why all the characters in the movie are fictional people loosely INSPIRED by the real life versions. I can understand the argument that the differences could be more pronounced but, at the end of the day, those are fictional characters on the screen and the movie never says otherwise.
I think some of it stemming from the discourse about it being a comedy. I get where that label is coming from, but I think it also makes people who haven’t seen it think that it’s like some kind of laugh fest that is mocking the situation.
a memorial to the lives lost
Men who never deal with the results of their sex lives still decide women’s existence. When will this end? I am 73 years old and hate the people who still dictate others lives. Frankly, it pisses me off.
No, there is a special process doctors have to go through to be able to prescribe them due to the FDA regulations. the easiest and safest way to get them is to order from any of the places listed on www.plancpills.org
I have a very earnest question that I’m legitimately curious about
I just can’t work up mocking a woman for what she’s wearing
Different wrappers.
I don’t think it’s weird to sympathize with her. The only thing weird was her being sent to jail. She should have been sent to a psychiatric facility to help her.
Yeah. Her punishment made me nuts. She didn’t need, or deserve, jail. She should have been sentenced to several years of mandated therapy to help her overcome her mother’s abuse and prepare her for a normal life.
Rednecks across the country can kill someone and claim self-defense because the victim looked at them funny or didn’t back down when the killer tried to perform a citizen’s arrest for jaywalking, but abuse victims like her have to take full responsibility for what they do to escape years of abuse.
I’m sure transphobia is part of it. However I think part of the reason it’s more talked about is hospitals are able to share records.
Yikes
Tall isn’t the only thing freakish about him in this photo.
The McAllister’s definitely had some generational wealth helping them out. I doubt that house was entirely paid for by whatever job the dad had.
Yep, that how actors work, they play multiple roles in different movies :)
