That is a fair point. Sheridan might be trying to get messages into his show with the velveteen touch of a dandy fop, but if a large swath of his viewers just plain don’t understand anything beyond the most surface level the problem of it being a ‘red show’ is still fairly valid.

Any show that unironically features white people in cowboy hats is a red state show.
