Am I really ready to keep a carton of Bonine next to my couch whenever I want to play video games? I just don't know that I am. Considering how much the 3D in the 3DS messes my head up after a while, I can only imagine what this would do.

I kind of agree. The same article could have been written without such an emphasis on the Wii U. The grand question of 'are there too many FPSs out there?' has been around for a very long time, and the answer has inevitably been, 'if you don't like them, don't play them.'
