Here in Oklahoma, it’s hot, humid, and hella windy.

I don’t really have any patience for this right now. Every single candidate on the Dem side, including freaking Tulsi Gabbard, is an incalculable improvement over Trump, who’s not only the worst president in US history but one of the worst leaders of a country in, at least, modern history. We can get back to our usual

That sounds like poor management. They should make sure there’s a backup plan. Even if no one single person can do all the things you do, there should be others who know what you do and can take over certain tasks or train others to do them. What if you get hit by a bus? A workplace shouldn't stand and fall with one

I think it’s good for people to know they’re not irreplaceable. It’s not healthy to take work too seriously. Unless you’re like the only surgeon in the world who can perform a certain procedure, you need to relax and get some distance and perspective. I work in an office, I am definitely replaceable.

I live in a european country and took over a year leave when I had my son. Because we have such long leaves, employers tend to bring in temps that take over the simpler tasks. Since it’s only for a year or so, you don’t have to hire someone on the same skill or salary level, and these temp jobs have proved to increase

To be fair, I don’t think it’s the hand-hovering that has renewed our obsession with Keanu. It’s the hovering PLUS the abundant series of small and pleasant interactions that people have reported over the years that make it clear he’s a kind, low-key funny, and humble person despite being Neo and the hot guy from

Counterpoint: Maybe we’re getting a little TOO cynical when we have to question something as innocuous as Keanu Reeves being a nice guy. Anyway, if Keanu Reeves is the “truly low standard” for being a good man, I can’t even imagine what the high standard is.

Yeah, no.

Why be such a buzzkill? This is really thoughtful of him. It’s not bare-minimum considering he really didn’t have to do it. He was going above and beyond to make sure he didn't accidentally make someone uncomfortable.

This is such a Splinter response. If he was less online you’d be criticizing him for not being a more vocal advocate.

He may have been tired of playing Cap, but he hasn’t tired of fighting Nazis. I’m cool with it.

This is truly one of the most worthless things I have ever read. The author doesn’t even describe her own issues with his posts, she just references other people’s to give her annoyance some credence because she is apparently incapable of voicing her own opinions.

Were you looking for a weird hill to die on or the weirdest hill to die on?

I wish there was a way to take back my ad revenue when an “article” is this stupid.

“Liberal stands up for liberal values; Splinter dislikes.”

Nothing is ever good enough right guys?

A popular movie star using Twitter and not being a complete dick?! SCANDAL! What exactly are you trying to do here? Don’t all you bloggers use Twitter too?

So if I understand correctly, this post is about an ‘extremely online’ person replying to people online, and the post is done in a format of responding to the things he says online and is written by another ‘extremely online’ person?

I posit that, as someone who knows what hollywood actors are posting on twitter, it is, in fact, you who are too online.

So many people are outraged either way and that is interesting to me. For some reason people think that other humans lives are their domain.
