I know. What’s next? A CMT remake of 9 to 5 starring Blake Lively, Jessica Biel and Carrie Underwood?

They weren’t. The two humans who bought tickets with a pet-friendly airline, made reservations to bring their dogs, and paid extra for the privilege in accordance with the airline’s policies were given preference over the human demanding that two paying customers be removed because she couldn’t be bothered to take

She’s dead. He’s dead. Her corpse is probably a desiccated husk right now. She has no space to invade.

One of the dogs was just a regular pet, and one was a support dog. This airline allows small animals to fly, so people with dogs on the flight aren’t doing anything wrong. Some airlines have allowed this for years.

Cargo holds are terrible places for pets and many have died in them.

Newsflash: Dogs are not just for white people, and I really hate when Black people act like they are. I grew up with dogs, I have a dog. You don’t have to come into contact with dogs everywhere...but they are allowed on some airlines and have been for years. So take that into account if being on a plane with a dog is

I also have dog allergies/allergic asthma and I’m a dog owner. My question is: Your wife knows that some airlines allow dogs, I’m assuming, since they’ve been doing it for years. With such a bad allergy, why didn’t she either call ahead to make sure there would be no animals on the flight, choose an airline that does

I don’t understand all the hate you’re getting. The dogs’ owner/s, regardless of whether they were pets, service animals or emotional support animals, *made arrangements* to fly with their animals, and SWA allowed them; they weren’t breaking any rules or infringing on anyone’s rights. If anything, the plane would

Why did you delete my thread? Simply because I disagreed with you? I wasn’t rude, didn’t call you any names. I’m really surprised and disappointed if this is the way you handle people who disagree with you about a relatively unimportant subject matter like dogs on planes. Damn, Yesha.

I agree with you completely, Yesha. As a grown adult, a supposedly educated woman she should have had the means to manage her allergy as pet dander can be airborne, on clothes, in upholstery, anywhere you go.

Dogs, especially certain breeds, sometimes die when being shipped as cargo. And if you’ve ever discussed this with a vet, you know that they say to NEVER sedate your dog when it is being shipped on a plane. That will absolutely raise your chances of killing your dog. And god, no, please do not drug children.

Thank you. So reasonable.

The FAA commented on this incident with a list of dog-free airlines, saying people with a severe or threatening allergy should try to fly those if possible. Of course, that’s easier said than done considering how much some airlines tend to almost have a monopoly on certain routes.

Note: I understand that an emotional support dog is not a service dog. I misspoke. However, if this woman’s allergies are so serious, the purpose of the dog on the flight would not matter. According to her, she would still not be able to be there.

I don’t have an emotional support dog, but I do have a dog. I might want to fly with him someday. If I buy a ticket for myself and pay the fee for the dog to travel, how am I supposed to know that there may be a woman on my flight who is going to have an allergic freak out? Should I be thrown off the flight? Should

Well, a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Two cannibals were eating a clown. The first cannibal turns to the second cannibal and asks “Does this taste funny to you?”

This is why I don’t open the door for unexpected company. Or the phone for unknown numbers. Or talk to people in general.
