I just bought this here fancy Japanese car!

Having a preference is fine, it was just the "declaring it like all competition has officially ended" delivery that I found amusing, particularly when it's coupled with what is still an unusual choice.

Yes, they put the wrong goddamn part in the airbag.

Actually, GM owners consistently rate their cars above industry average in terms of fewer problems and higher quality, both initially and after 3 years.

so do tell me - as Toyota, Honda, and Nissan are in the midst of recalling every car they built with an airbag; how does this get front page - and theirs don't?

They're in full blow "cover our ass" mode at this point. Tiny little concerns or potential issues that other companies would ignore right now are being addressed with stop sale orders and recalls. It's not like their quality has suddenly plummeted or anything.

I would take Pontiac 8 days a week over Saab.

For those of you who dispute this claim, here's what I've learned from other drag racers: when you do well, it's because of your own excellent driving. But when you do poorly, it's because of the car, the weather, the track, the tires, the fact that it didn't "hook up," the lights, the crowd, the war in Afghanistan,

Possible solution...if the SF Scout is still available have either Damon or Torch (or another friend you have in the area) contact the dude independently and just act like they are a local that wants to buy the car. You can wire them the money, they buy the car (if it checks out) you fly out to hang with your Jalop
