I do this all the time in the Camaro, keeps me out of trouble. 60 zone? Stick to third and cruise along.

I would love to do this. As soon as I can convince my project to come out of the garage and actually work for more than five minutes.
2013 Camaro 1LS. In cold weather (we’re talking -20 and below) the car would repeatedly call OnStar until it warmed up enough. The key fob would also randomly unlock similar year trucks within vicinity and randomly fail to work until you were right next to the car.
I’ve owned an 80's TA. You don’t want one.
My 1988 Firebird. Hell to work on.
Its not a real replacement for the V8 but the V6 with dual mode exhaust is incredibly ear splitting. I find it a good compromise.
Unless you are in Canada where the prices have skyrocketed. When I ordered my ‘16 (V6, 3 pedals, dual mode exhaust) seven months ago I got it for a song. The same car now costs about 40% more.

Thanks! These have taken me a lot longer than I originally planned to actually finish.
Dash wiring for my new gauges. Plus I’ll likely end up tinkering with the Holley more than I want to. And cleaning my disaster zone of a garage.
I think all my cars have been against one person or another’s advice. My first car; my 1975 Buick Apollo, was and is universally derided by most people.
Until they start leaking. Which is all the time.

I feel ya. I’m in the midst of trying to sell my Trans Am.
One step closer to Mad Max in Space!
If you’d asked me a few months ago I would have disagreed and thrown a fit. Desperately grasping my flip out laser cut key in misplaced pride.
I want specs on that clutch linkage conversion. So bad.
I’ve only had two vehicles defeat me to the point I threw my wrenches aside and walked away.
Obligatory.
I like this. Extremely thought provoking.
