Sounds like the perfect combination. I actually enjoyed grinding a lot in DQIX, if the gameplay is as good and as charming I won’t mind that bit.

That good? I’ll confess (again!) I was full of doubts about DQIX. Like, how good the story can be for a game with a silent protagonist? ...and that looks like Dragon Ball? But it completely won me over, quickly, with its lovely, quirky story and amazing gameplay. This series is special.
