So you’re mad because he cheated on his wife. Ok. Clearly his wife is dealing with it. So either a) the situation is more complicated than the bare facts, as situations go or b) it was made up to hype the guy and the whole thing was to increase his fame. Now, ive never heard of this guy outside this article or the

Who is anyone to judge that guy, his actions, or his popularity?

A mistake is not the same as an accident. Something can be carefully planned and executed and still be a mistake, and something worth learning from.

Those of us who consume media almost always seek pure entertainment. This guy is entertaining, period. Why is this so hard for the detractors to understand? People watch this channel for the same reason you watch your dumbass shows, it is entertaining.

Twitch is currently pulling more viewers on average than it ever has. I don’t think they’re in trouble.

A family showing how to weather life’s challenges? Yeah okay I guess we should go watch loser fuckbois who text underage girls they attract on their stream instead. Don’t confuse the character on a show with the guy off screen

He had a lot of viewers before because he was a generally entertaining streamer. He gained a lot more viewers when he returned, because someone at the top of the craft going out and then returning later in top form is an age-old storyline, and it’s compelling. It’s an interesting event in the Twitch storyline.

Get a grip. Money goes to those who entertain. Period.

Is there any female streamers that are even close to how popular the doc is?? Just saying because if they’re not then its a completely different situation.

What is the insane part of this story to you? The fact that an entertainer drew 389,000 viewers? That happens all the time. The fact that drama increased his success? That also happens all the time. There are entire TV shows built on that foundation.

Unless they are a world class e-sport player, what’s the point of watching a streamer who isn’t putting on a show with their antics?

It’s truly sad that Tyler who is a toxic shit holds the record and he has 0 charisma. Doc is what most Twitch streamers are not, charismatic, engaging and he developed a silly character persona that people love. He actually put work into set design, effects to where it feels like a show.

“They basically toe the line that exists somewhere between fraternity hazing and snuff film.”

Virtue signaling complete. Proceed to the next topic you want to shit on while adding nothing at all.

I enjoyed watching Jackass (and still enjoy watching The Dudesons, for that matter) knowing full well that I would neither try nor subject anyone else to the shit those guys pulled, and I’m a person who has been lauded for my conscientiousness to the point it’s made me uncomfortable. So, uh, no, one’s enjoyment of

I mean... its called “Jackass”. Its not like they called it “Smart People do Safe Things”

I deactivated my Facebook account probably... 4 years ago? I remember it being exceedingly difficult (if not impossible) to actually fully delete your account. There may have been some kind of a process involving sending an e-mail or calling a phone number, but deactivation was good enough or me at the time.

Tons of things in pop culture glamorize stupidity in various ways. That doesn’t make the people who enjoy them bad people. The show’s cast members were friends, they didn’t involve anyone but themselves in their dangerous stunts, and they did it for years. It wasn’t smart, or amazing filmmaking, but comparing it to a

Stop liking what I don’t like (or you are a bad person)

While I’m not a huge fan of watching people get hit in the nuts myself, I’m also not a fan of when people state that they’ve never seen any part of a show, but then assert that anyone who liked it is a bad person. The people who liked watching the show didn’t like watching people get hurt, they liked watching people
