Every poll is hypothetical. Why did Bernie perform better against Trump than Hillary in every poll held during the primary?

Do the polls that say Hillary is in the lead over Trump currently mean anything? How do you dismiss polls in one instance and not the other?

Socialists and communists have been at the forefront of anti-racist activism in the country, both in interracial class solidarity of the IWW or League of Struggle for Negro Rights and Black socialists like the Black Panthers, Claudia Jones, Bayard Rustin, and Angela Davis.

Every head-to-head poll showed him with a 10+ point lead over Trump (compared to Hillary who tied or led by low single digits) and his favorability is about 40 points higher than Trump compared to Hillary, whose unfavorability has often matched or narrowly trailed Donald.
