There is so much judgement on what makes a mom “good” or “great”, and it’s so much hogwash. These preachy women who insist that if you’re not doing X,Y, and Z, you’re going to “ruin” your child, and the ones who go totally overboard on everything (have you seen these ridiculous lunches they send to school these days? h…

Chasing perfect actually makes you a worse parent. I want them to have a good and loving foundation, everything else is extra and never at the expense of the foundation and the basics.

So long as I try my best to not let them die and try not to mess them up nearly as much as my parents messed me up, I'm good with that. P
