It’s a basic trailer for an upcoming event that uses a highly recognizable theme in it. I don’t see what’s “weird as hell” about it.

Pretty restrained performance from Robin Williams, too (although maybe not as much as Dead Poet’s Society).

What would you do for a lifetime supply of Hendrick’s, which is (objectively) better than Bombay Sapphire?

As a human being, I am glad that Trump will not throwing out the first pitch. The Yankees deserve to be criticized for giving him that opportunity in the first place.

Wi nøt trei a høliday in Sweden this yër?

I watched the pilot. The theme song was the high water mark.

Amid a global pandemic when thousands of people are dying every day — including a lot of Republicans who refuse to wear masks, like this guy (probably) — maybe not a great idea to put “RIP” in the headline unless the subject is actually dead.

Come on, Maine and Rhode Island are, at best, Pete Best (no pun intended) or Billy Preston.

I was super pumped to watch some old Law and Order when Peacock launched today, but it turns out they only have the last eight seasons. I was promised all 20 seasons, dammit. WHERE ARE SEASONS 1-12?

Well, Michael Moriarty was kind of a whack job, so maybe good that he never actually came back.

That ascot is definitely curious

I watched Thor: Ragnarok last weekend on Disney+ and definitely saw Hulk’s giant green ass (in brilliant 4K).

Which, to me, is a sign that he is in fact not “all there.”

Asgard is a people

It’s an interesting point, but I don’t think it’s the same. Even if we end up with just a few big streaming services - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney+, HBO Max, and let’s say Peacock, which NBC seems pretty committed to - it’s not like cable because we can pick and choose from them. It’s not like you’re forced to

I despise all things Trump and believe his campaign staff absolutely keeping what they were doing when they scheduled the Tulsa rally on Juneteenth and the Jacksonville speech on the anniversary of a massacre there. And they’ve used racist symbolism proudly before.

They can’t afford a lambo, probably will just buy a miata

Is this from Vinnie’s in Williamsburg?

I love Tawny Newsome’s podcast work, so I will definitely give this a shot. And glad to have some new Trek content as we continue to live out our extended real-life trip to the Mirror Universe (which will hopefully end on January 20, 2021).

Wendell Pierce should be in waaaaay more things. The Bunk and his big-ass dick was one of the best characters on The Wire.
