That’s why I said “most people,” not all people. I know voter disenfranchisement is real. But for many of us (I live in New York), the only barrier to voting is apathy.

Voting might ultimately turn out to be pointless in some situations, but generally I don’t think it is. And it requires minimal effort for most people - so just fucking do it.

In 2025, when he struck out 170 times, he had an OPS+ of 113... then 126 the next year, 96 last year, 125 this year. Not really a remarkable progression for a guy in his mid-20s.
