Listen, I’m with you that the sheer volume of accusations means he’s likely guilty. And I would also note that the sample size here is relatively small compared to the volume of accusations that RAINN presumably analyzed, so it’s very likely there’s not even one false accusation in the bunch here.

This is an excellent point and a very good comment. But .02 to the power of 50 is not the right math. What you want is .02 x 50 - which is 1, meaning that if RAINN’s stat on false claims is applied to the accusations against Cosby, just one of them is a false accusation.
