I’m a Yankee fan who has lived in the NYC area my entire life, and of course I’m very happy with the team’s success in my lifetime. But their broadcasters have always been shit. I would have loved to grow up listening to Vin Scully call games. There’s really nobody who even compares to him.

I really find it disgusting that actors and studios continue to work with Polanski. With him, there’s there’s really no gray area (as one might argue with Woody Allen). Polanski pled guilty to statutory rape and then fled before sentencing. Even if you acknowledge that he fled because he was upset about the judge…

Tamlyn Tomita is on an ABC show called “The Good Doctor” about a young, autistic surgeon. Her role is minor, but it’s network TV, so she probably doesn’t need to do a YouTube show.

For some reason, the Twitter account for NBA PR that’s linked to in the article is now protected. Is this not a genuine account or is there some reason why the NBA would not want its public statements available to everyone?

Oh, totally. But since Spock is my favorite fictional character in basically anything that’s ever existed, I give him a bit of a pass. And, as we saw in most of the movies, he learned to value his humanity as he aged.

Honestly, I thought this was a good episode. I don’t mind the tone being different from other Trek incarnations, and we’ve only seen a handful of episodes anyway, so I’m reserving final judgment.
