I think technically he was still captain of the Enterprise. He just ceded command to his superior officer.

His first act, but not his only. He did sacrifice himself to save the ship, something that none of the other captains have done.

Monopoly is not a good game to play as an adult. Everyone remembers it being fun from when we were kids, but playing a game as an adult is an interminable hell.

My only problem here is the inconsistency of the school. Why did they give him a roster spot to begin with?

Seriously? Good on Jemele Hill for speaking her mind, and good on Michael Smith for backing her up.

My college roommate is, like me, a lifelong Democrat. And he LOVES this show. Its appeal is as broad as it is mystifying.

Every commercial I’ve seen for it makes it look like the schmaltziest shit in the world. It’s like a fucking Lifetime movie every fucking week.

Decaffeinated green tea with honey and lemon.

Jemele has a right to her personal opinions, but not to publicly share them on a platform that implies that she was in any way speaking on behalf of ESPN.

Honestly, Canada sounds better every day. Nice people, subsidized healthcare, no Trump, less expensive Trek, hockey on TV all the time...

Isn’t a banker with scruples the same thing as a whore with principles?

So you seriously didn’t watch TNG after The Naked Now? The first reason was rougher than rough, but there were some damn good episodes in the second season and seasons 3-5 were generally brilliant.

Don’t forget Atlanta saying no to the Braves. Although they of course found a receptive crowd in Cobb County.

I’m not an attorney, but it’s my understanding that attorneys are essentially required to follow the whims of their clients (provided they’re not illegal). So I imagine there were at least a few times when a client pushed back on your resistance to using kids as pawns - how do you resolve that conflict?

I think he’s also been on a bunch of Law & Order episodes.

There is no need to sink to these depths...

What the hell would you need to apologize for? He’s the abuser.

Same here. I mean, our avatars are Kirk and Spock. How the fuck can we not watch this?

Am I the only one who’s sick of Stephen King?

Sounds pretty narcissistic, which I imagine (I don’t have any direct experience with abuse) is a common trait among abusers.
