Maybe. But the way I look at it, if Trump were a comic book character (not exactly something that’s difficult for us to imagine), Supes would be foiling his plots all the time instead of Lex Luthor. And I bet he would be fast friends with Zod. So he would see Zod as one of the good guys (maybe he’s an ubercapitalist)

I guess that’s in the Byrne reboot that someone else mentioned above? I didn’t realize the part about him being placed in the birthing matrix before leaving Krypton. In any case, as a kid I read his original origin story from whenever it was (a helluva long time ago), which was more or less the same as the 1978 movie.

No joke, I think of this quote at least once a week. It’s just about the only thing I really remember from the show. And it’s some really practical advice that I could use (if I ever write that damn screenplay).

Now playing

Buena Vista Television struck a deal to distribute, market and promote the series starting in 1993, according to the suit. Under the deal, Nye and his partners were entitled to 50% of net profits from the series.

A fictional immigrant.

We need to build a wall between Krypton and America (not Earth, just America). When Krypton sends people here, they’re not sending their best. Now, I’m sure some of them are good people (Trump is probably a huge fan of Zod and Ursa), but mostly they’re rapists and murderers.

Really? That, I think, changes the fundamental nature of the character.

Superman’s two creators were both Jewish. And Superman is not “white” since he’s not even human. He’s also an immigrant.

We should all remember that Superman himself is an undocumented immigrant sent here by parents who wanted him to have a better life than was possible back on Krypton.

I know it’s not good to have hatred in one’s heart, but I legit hate Donald Trump. And I don’t feel the slightest bit bad about saying that.

You see that right there? That’s an entire egg.

At least they’re consistently stupid.

One of my cousin’s dogs repeatedly tried to murder their cat (not exaggerating). The murder was only prevented by their other dog playing peacemaker.

You claimed that the movies were “lambasted,” which means “harshly criticized.” 57 isn’t a great score for Thor, but it does mean that more critics liked it than disliked it. And a 66 for Cap (not a 61) means that critics may not have loved it, but they generally liked it.

Captain America has a Metacritic score of 66, meaning generally positive reviews.

As far as I remember, the first Thor and Cap movies were not “lambasted” when they came out or at any point since. And I personally enjoyed both.

Back in elementary school, I seem to remember that the ball we used for kickball was actually a basketball. So might as well just call it baseketball.

Anyone want to bet these “memos” are each 140 characters or less?
