Great article, thanks. I’m afraid you aren’t going to be able to convince Clinton supporters, though. It’s OK with them that this allows for a single individual to give up to $1.3 million over a two year election cycle, because they like George Clooney. The problem is that people like Walmart heir Alice Walton also

No, that’s crap. The entire thing is really clear. She gets a small amount. The DNC takes their share. The rest goes to different races in different states. You are now officially making things up.

But, it’s not. It is literally for the down ticket candidates. They are supposed to do this. Don’t you want to see Bernie’s big revolution happen? It can’t happen without other progressives voting in favor of his ideas.

Bernie supporter here. And, if this point is true (and I believe you that it is), very disappointing.

I don’t need to make assumptions when you’re telling me what you think.

Her supporters are just as obnoxious. We’ve all seen it. A friend of mine was harassed by three women late at night on the street while wearing a Bernie shirt. They were awkward, so she didn’t feel threatened, but it was embarrassing.

That’s some flavorful ad hominem Kinja you’re dumping. Those are factual assertions, easily checked with brief online research. Go ahead. I’ll wait.

You may be a Sanders supporter, but you MUST be new here. Have you seen how mind controlled the Hill Bots are? You say anything negative about their precious and you’re labeled sexist or a Berne Bros. Except Obama, of course. He seems to get a pass for calling her Cheney Lite for some reason . Probably because it

Doesn’t that substantively amount to Hillary buying coalition? And, if so, confirm everything Sanders says?

So you’re like totally cool with the fucked up lobbying situation too then. Way to stand for the people instead of the money.

A record 32 state parties signed on to the fund, allowing the committee to solicit donations 130 times greater than what a supporter can give to Clinton’s campaign for the primary.

Interesting, I’m of the opposite opinion. I think a small portion of the federal budget should be set aside for presidential elections and private donations disallowed so influence cannot be overtly purchased. I agree that money isn’t innately evil, but I also have to acknowledge it holds influence over people.

Many people allege this fund is being used to persuade (read “buy”) superdelegate votes from these states.

Thank you. This entire slant is fucking idiotic.

The fact of the matter is that a lot of people, the majority of people, face either having no vehicle and no means to get to their employment and are unable to purchase a vehicle outright. As a result, they tend to put down a few thousand on purchasing a used vehicle and even after 5 years, trading it in with debt
