That’s not how castle doctrine works. He was not threatening her life, and he wasn’t in her vehicle, so castle doctrine is not in effect.
That’s a terrible precedent to set. How serious of a crime does someone have to commit for me to run them over with my car? Does that change if my gender or the gender of the criminal change?
