Just like the collection of jackass comments I read to this story before getting to yours... yeah, that stupid Millennials. We ruined their environment, raised the price of their education, hold decent paying jobs outta their reach, shit on their dreams, watch them get gunned down and then tell them they are self

It’s funny.....all the adults who for years have shit upon Millenials (now adults) and other kids....complaining they’re lazy, selfish, absorbed in their phones, have no direction, don’t vote, don’t care about issues etc etc.

It is thoroughly possible to love the books for nostalgia’s sake, and appreciate the windows into that time period they throw open. It’s good for children to read them, or have them read to them, I should say, and to understand how society moves and grows and learns.

They really are! She had her own little bed for daytime naps (pictured) but at night she felt like a part of me :).

I love sleeping in bed with pets! My current kitty will occasionally sleep in the bed with me and my husband, but she goes through phases (one week it will be in bed, the next on a nightstand, etc.)

I especially recommend this book if you were a fan as a kid who’s now turned off by all those things—it’s really a fascinating reassessment.

I’m surprised at the saltiness of this post. “And he gave them some gas money.” Yeeesh.

Yep, I think this is all very likely, especially since folks on other forums are piecing together that this whole thing likely originates with the troubled production of episode 7 of season 2, “The Lost Sister.” The one person who’s come forward with a vague corroboration of Peyton Brown’s story, the show’s script

According to Peyton’s original instagram post, the Duffer Bros were “verbally abusive” (not further specified) towards women on set. And I feel like—maybe it’s the cynic in me—directors are often “verbally abusive” towards lots of people on sets? Like, film sets are high-stress environments and you’re working to

No but it really is and I didn’t realize until my first summer in Madison. The entire city turns into a carnival from the months of May to September. Free or dirt cheap live music almost every night and the beer is as good as anywhere in the US and cheap as water. And the best bike paths in the US. I’m a New Yorker

Have you met Wisconsin voters? They’ve voted for Paul Ryan 9 times and Scott Walker 3 times.

Please move here, we need all the votes we can get, Walker is tired AF! - I’ve voted against Walker the last two Gov elections, and even voted to recall his ass, twice. But this is Wisco and she’s def not going to win because breastfeeding in public in Wisco gets you looks n stares and people act shocked that there’s

All for trans inclusivity but no reason for them to have an outsized voice in a movement that they are only 15% of. Feminism has always been about females. Stay focused.

I was expecting this to be about abuse from students and parents but not other teachers.

Beyond preying on these women, he is part of the reason there are few Native writers at his level. He promised mentorship opportunities and help to writers and then withdrew his offers and threatened their careers. I am looking forward to an influx of fresh Native writers getting mentions on reading suggestions and

This is a quote from him on his Wikipedia and I simultaneously want to side-eye him for this but also laugh.

A shame. I’d have loved to see his tux

It’s not anything special. It’s a picture of her head and if I recall correctly the body model was the bar owner’s/painter’s grown daughter.

As someone who has lived more than 5 years in both the Research Triangle and in Ann Arbor, that is in fact a staggering difference. North Carolina roads and schools shut down if there is 1/4" snow. Ann Arbor doesn’t close a thing until it’s below -20 with wind chill and there’s at least 6" of snow in one snowstorm.
