Cocaine Bear was mediocre. Tonally it was all over the place; a horror comedy is all well and good, but the “horror” bits were mostly played completely straight, as if the rest of the movie wasn’t a comedy, which made them feel really weird. I know some people dig watching people get brutally ripped apart by

“Write better films”

You know, the main reason I keep coming back to these lifeless, zombied-out SNL reviews every Sunday is to figure out whether or not this column is auto-generated by an AI. Every single review reads like the same basic review template, with names and titles switched out and a “thumbs up/down” assigned randomly (since

I do agree that, her performance notwithstanding, she's a terrible choice for it. Just like Musk.

If the A.V. Club needs a part-time proofreader, I’d be happy to help. Oof.

She was just savvy enough to realize repeatedly zinging herself and her family was the only way to go.

You know, I think one of the symptoms of long-term weed consumption is believing that cliched weed jokes are still funny.

Why would it ever be cancelled? It’s cheap to make and has the most Emmys of any show. And if it weren’t on most stations would just run infomercials.

It’s also worth mentioning (as the article did, and linked to a wikipedia page on it) that “it’s okay to be white” is one of those racist dogwhistles chosen by internet shitheads specifically because it sounds innocuous. So racists can use it for covert signaling without tipping off normies, and people who say, “that’s

It was a weed joke. It was a joke about weed. I have no idea how people have managed to turn it into an anti-vax statement.

Worst monologue in recent memory. Worse than Kim Kardashian or Elon Musk. And I love Woody in general... that was just terrible.

  • I wonder what the contingency plan is for a possible Biden-Trump debate. Will James Austin Johnson play both parts somehow, or will he be forced to make a choice?

Oh this is disappointing I guess. I have weirdly strong memories of watching the Dilbert cartoon in my youth. The episode where Dilbert finds his long lost father in a Chinese buffet that he never had to leave ,and his Dad ultimately chooses to stay and he’s like “Tell your mother.... they have pie”.

He played Carnage, dumb ass.

I really enjoy the short lived dilbert cartoon, and I feel comfortable saying that since that show is significantly more Larry Charles made joyful insanity than mundane workplace Scott Adams.

I’d say this is a new “Cartoon Wars,” but Paramount and Warner/HBO refuse to air those episodes, so they can both get fucked.

This is absolutely going to end up an episode.

Doesn’t seem like much of a case. The Paramount stuff hasn’t aired on Comedy Central, it’s not part of the proper South Park show. As long as they are still producing mainline episodes and giving them to HBO, then what’s the issue? Also, the episodes are available on the South Park site itself without HBO.

Warner Bros was taken in by dishonest Hollywood accounting? Poor babies lol.

All this press for the $2k price tag. These articles aren’t worth it dude.
