I like the idea of being able to play MMORPGs in a tiny gaming console such as the Jungle. Then again, that could be my inner geek talking.
@Hoffy: Your Flight of the Conchords reference is full of win.
@Antubis: This wasn't meant to take up that much room...
I like your stylish hat, sir.
The guy on the right with the cigar makes me smile.
@ddhboy: That's pretty impressive. I've never heard of a cell company doing that.
@Faxmonkey: Actually, BSA doesn't have a policy regarding monotheism. I've never heard of a kid not being accepted into the scouts because of his religion (or lack thereof) or sexual orientation, and I've been in scouting awhile. I've heard of scouts being kicked out for behavioral issues, but that's fairly rare.…
@Faxmonkey: Narrow-mindedness? Please elaborate.
@2 replies: Um... BSA isn't "primarily led by the Mormon church", as you state. There are quite a few Mormon scout troops in existence, as they use scouting as a means to help their youth grow character, but they're only a fraction of the total number of troops in the US.
@Le Starman Royale, duc des Mudkips et des modules MIDI: Honestly, I think people actually look for opportunities to bring down the scouting movement. It's rather sad really, since it's such a great program. I wish people would take the time to find out what scouting's really about instead of, as you say, jumping on…
@Le Starman Royale, duc des Mudkips et des modules MIDI: When I was in junior high, I remember getting made fun of for being a boy scout. It wasn't a problem in high school, though. I think it's a maturity issue.
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.2: haha We can't even sell popcorn anymore. The Cub Scouts steal all out business!
@TaxiHappy: Actually, it's a 27% decline in sales growth, not in overall sales.
This would work in recreational vehicles, but obviously not in the typical home. Still, I'd like to see the idea reintroduced and marketed toward RV manufacturers.
Alas, this is a misquote.
@drmrw: You, sir, have been hearted.
Perhaps I'm not reading the graph correctly, but a 4% drop in sales since last year doesn't mean that the notebook is dying.
This kind of thing has been on trains since before the 30's. I once rode in an old passenger car with my scout troop from that era, and the car had reversible bench seats.
@Wwhat: I'm not talking about the merits of updating the firmware. I know that keeping the OS up-to-date is a good thing. :)
