Is it just me, or did Gizmodo take the story off the front page?
Is it just me, or did Gizmodo take the story off the front page?
@RebelScum: It would, IMHO. I believe the whole wireless "throttling" thing people are talking about is just temporary, due to the fragility of 3G networks. If it ever comes to throttling.
@techynottreky: In theory, an agreement would throttle down the little guys. However, I'm still skeptical as to whether Google would actually agree to such a thing.
@RogueWarrior: Actually, it's funny you should mention that. Solar just surpassed nuclear in terms of cost this week. Look it up on Engadget. ^_^
I can already see some potential bugs with that plan...
@baneyu: My bad! ^_^
@baneyu: But wouldn't charging royalties from every dvd rental in a library be like charging royalties from every book rental? I fail to see why the two should be treated differently.
@bunfoo: ^_^
@MifuneT: Romance novels, old yearbooks, and Martha Stewart magazines have no intellectual value. Should they be taken out of libraries as well?
@01SNKOWNR: That's kind of like saying that the library shouldn't rent out books, because I might scan the pages into a pdf. I guess organizations like the RIAA just kind of turn their heads to libraries and the like. :)
@bunfoo: You spelled blu ray like "blue ray" on a tech site. OCD nerds everywhere are cringing.
@Ioncloud9: This is no different in terms of profit for those companies than of blockbuster and redbox renting out dvd's.
@baneyu: Yeah, like free.
Dude, IS Gizmodo in Houston?? That pic is almost over my house!!
@MikeofLA: He actually has a gf.
@iidebaser: The thing about tiny houses is that all the insulation you need is RF-14. That'll keep it warm down to -35 degrees.
@robo: One of his tiny houses actually has a full tub & shower.
@NiTeShADe: lol I've been considering purchasing a tiny house that he;s designed for awhile, although it's gonna take a lot more money than I currently have. :P
@JaeJun: He's got around 16 different designs to choose from, so you can pretty much make your tiny house as big or as small as possible.
@iidebaser: He has about 16 or so different houses that he's designed, so you can find one that fits your needs. :)
