1) There’s no reason to make the tax code simpler. It’s a pointless request, and it never works (because I can always find reasons for every exception you would call a problem).

3/10, you gotta up your game if you think this is convincing.
If you’re single in your system (or married and your combined income with no kids is, say $40K), then you’ll be paying a grand in taxes. Ask any couple making $40K if they can handle a thousand dollars disappearing.
I don’t understand this reply. Are you one of those “all taxation is theft” idiots?
You wouldn’t be able to actually fund such aid without a really high percentage for your flat tax, and I’m assuming a 20% tax rate would be a problem for the middle class, who wouldn’t get such aid.
Marginal dollars. Poor people can’t afford 12% of their income disappearing. Wealthy people wouldn’t even notice.
Someone needs a safe space.
On that last idea, I could go for a forced choice if the choice depends strongly on what you’ve done (which would lock you in hours ago in game time). But one of my favorite roleplaying playthroughs is in KOTOR when... *SPOILERS*
They should’ve done what League does in that instance and disable the champ until the bug is fixed.
On the other hand, I’m sure it’s easier to wash a famous person’s balls when they’re a bit deflated.
Your last paragraph is definitely inconsistent with your opening ones.
If I saw that guy lined up in the back, my first thought would be “running headstart into a full steam handoff for the outside track.” They didn’t need much for the 1st down, so the risky pass wouldn’t even cross my mind.
Yeah, and if they choose to go all-out on the animation, those human vs human fights could be some of the best in motion.
So assuming they lose next week, I’m going to call really bad diarrhea a “Code 1-15.”
It’s not Kotor 3, so nah.
This is the main point here. If subjectivity is the reason for these no-calls, then we should be seeing more of them with other QBs. We aren’t.
I completely agree about Watch Dogs. It was clearly going to be Future AC.
They could do this, but there’s no way the fine would be all that high compared to what the NFL can pay. Hell, I’d wager most teams would just throw in that fine as part of the offer. “We’ll give you $5 million, plus buy out your early exit clause.”
Savage, but fair.
NCAA has no leverage on this for the same reason the schools don’t. These guys are going to take offers for millions next year; they have no intention of finishing their degrees if they don’t want to, and they certainly don’t care about bowl game wins.
