I mean, for him, this is a good thing from a marketing standpoint. They can show off trailers and say “Trailer generated using an Xbox/Playstation*”

Yep, super accurate. There’s a park near my house with a lake in the center, and walking around that lake gets me 6-9 Magikarp every time. Walking there every day or so, you’d get Gyarados in like 2 weeks.
I prefer the new style though (and as you point out, that was the old style too once a celeb paid their dues and got that “friend of the show” status). I don’t really care to see a barely-disguised commercial; I am interested in which celebrities are human beings who like things versus which ones are robots/lizard…
I live in Mississippi, and while I don’t know a soul who sits down to watch Finebaum, damned if his show isn’t on at least one TV in every bar I’ve ever been to. Time of day is irrelevant.
Technically, marketing includes the promotional material that they have on the Steam page, for example. So them leaving up the E3 trailer (which was still on the page last time I checked) specifically features things that aren’t in the game, and according to some leaked code, may never have been worked on at all. That…
A 5 point win or a dead heat with that group is insane. I reiterate that no Democrat has won that group since FDR. Even Goldwater won that group.
Polling of Jeb, Cruz, etc... voters showed that Trump was the 2nd choice for a lot of them. If they had dropped out, I think Trump still wins the majority. But it would’ve been a lot closer.
This isn’t correct. The RNC rules stipulate that the candidate now has to voluntarily give up the nomination or they can’t pick anyone else. They’ve also passed the rules committee for 2016, so there’s no chance to change that.
That last point doesn’t mean much. He’s losing among college educated white males, but (I believe this is true of all demographics) those without college outnumber those with it.
I think the point for people like Whitman is that Hillary’s up-front, known raises on taxes for people like her are preferable to Trump’s “fuck up the markets, it’d be fun” approach.
To clarify on the “Xbox has never profited” thing: it’s a bit misleading. The original startup cost of forming the division was high, and people were using it as a sink against profits of the division.
You know there are black gay Republicans, right? It’s just statistically not as likely. You have to accept that you’re not representative of the base that supported Sanders.
You do know that statements are given with context, right?
Wow, then I guess we’ll just have to stop holding these giant events since Paterk says they’re stupid.
I actually thought the Fullbring arc was super refreshing. Their powers weren’t nonsense DBZ ki blasts, so the fights had to be thought out.
Eh, knowing your market is essential in business. If McDonald’s started selling top cuts of sirloin steak for 5 bucks, that would be a great deal!
I’m not sure I follow. Do you believe that 360 Games with Gold titles require a subscription?
Patrick, your paragraph about GwG is inaccurate for the 360. You don’t need an active subscription to play those if you got them through the service.
Seriously, it’s been that way for years now. Kotaku’s got to get some editors.
Everyone’s only able to guess why it’s so difficult to do this, but the only answer is that when PSN was set up, they did something to really tie your account to your username instead of an email or something. So changing the username would basically set up a new account instead of just changing a visible tag.
