I disagree that fighting games are the most accessible. They don’t sell a crazy amount. Now, take a first-person shooter and make that big, and you’ll see a ton of viewers. Everyone’s playing CoD, so if you put something like that on, people will watch.

Live masturbation jokes is the hill you wanna die on?

As long as a character is looking for Courage, and trying to save Wisdom from Power, it’s a Zelda game.

And the 4chan bleeds through. Gaming has moved on from basement dwellers like yourself. Don’t forget your fedora on the way out!

None of those changes would change these games much at all. So your point looks even stupider now.

Conversely, back to 4chan where pieces of shit in human form like you belong.

I was being sarcastic. Hence, the “Oh wait, it doesn’t” part. :P

Since gay people exist, you win nothing!

The character, per the developers, is an amorphous player avatar that’s supposed to be as bland as possible. It’s the explicitly stated reason for why they won’t make Link talk.

I’d agree if the explicit reason for not giving voiceovers to Link wasn’t “Link is supposed to be a player avatar.”

I do see your point that Link’s gender has a real impact on the overall package of the game.

This, Keith’s play was insane!

The problem is the underlying assumption when you call out unacceptable behavior. In this instance, Mike and Bernie are saying, “Don’t vote based solely on gender!” which implies that people are doing that.

Cults always happen. As long as they’re clearly the minority or they’ve been heavily scorned by their candidate, then I don’t mind. But the Pauls never did a good job of that with their bases, and I don’t think Bernie is doing a good job of it now.

Correct, I would not. And correct again, it shouldn’t be your first priority. But Bernie and Hillary have a 93% overlap in their voting records. That’s going to mean that you have to find some criteria to differentiate. Gender, race, religion, etc... are perfectly valid choices in that situation.

Of course the issues matter, which is why none of these people saying, “I’m voting for Hillary because she’s a woman” are basing it solely on that. But when you’ve got 2 candidates with a 93% similarity in voting record, then you’ve got to find some way to differentiate. It’s perfectly fine in my opinion for

Yeah, that was the thinking for me. Then the reality set in :(

That was a huge gaffe for him. Obama’s approval numbers are great, and they’re over 90% approval with black Democrats (redundant, I know). If Bernie wants to improve those numbers, he can’t be saying that a beloved president was a failure.

Well, yeah, no one reputable (Rush, Beck, etc... all did, but they’re about as reputable as Madoff). I think we on the left are just figuring out who our nutjobs (press, politicians, etc...) are. We do have them.

This got me away from libertarian principles years ago. When you start noticing the overwhelming number of MRAs at events, you kinda start asking what’s attracting them in the first place.
