I would love for them to have a spinoff with Ghost Beaters Kelly and Pablo, maybe Ash’s daughter Brandy, and maybe bring in Jane Levy from the rebooted movie too, what the hell

I saw Blackkklansman there, and the pre-show compilation was clips of black people messing with Klansmen throughout cinema history. It was pretty great.
I saw Uncut Gems there as well, the rap video you’re referring to is “Basketball” by Kurtis Blow. I wouldn’t say it’s horrible so much as horribly dated.
For years I had on my office door the one about the murder at the butler convention & the inspector thinking to himself “god I hate to start a Monday with a case like this”
Folgers in the Attic.
The Limey commentary is an all time great. Dobbs the writer and Sorderberg are friends who spend the whole time arguing over whether he’s ruined Dobbs script with his stupid changes.
Buried lede: at last, someone on this show can pronounce ‘Constantine’.
So... you’re disappointed because you don’t watch the Arrowverse?
Honestly I would be surprised if Slade and Shado (and others, maybe Sin, Rag-Man, and Artemis and Nyssa) were not back for the series finale, which might be more appropriate than just bringing them back for the crossover
Kept waiting for the “but”. Excited there wasn’t one!
If the idea is a black Superman, I’m all for it, but would they address the fact that a black man with those powers would scare the shit out of white America?
It’s from the Robinson series.
I really enjoyed the tone of “Spook Country.” It’s like the whole thing is a big practical joke, but a very serious practical joke.
I’d rather watch an adaptation of his novel about pants. That’s not even a joke.
And Liev Schrieber. Sure he had one shot in the original but his role as Cotton Weary really began (and sadly, save for an opening scene cameo) ended here. And he was fantastic.
One of the top moments for me was when Curtis said that they had to go to Russia and Oliver rolled his eyes hard.
They misspelled ‘Colour’.
The only thing that could have improved this episode is if Laurel had cut the Monitor off as soon as he said “You will have to betray Oliv-” with a super fast “I’ll do it.”
I don’t see why Alfred can’t be young and hunky like on Pennyworth. Really, they should make a movie where he and Bruce are as close as brothers.
Alfred as an aged, twisted, river halfling would be an inspired take
