Really wish this was getting a Blu-ray release as well. I still like having physical discs, and The Limey is one of the few Soderbergh films I only have on DVD.

The story I remember at the time was that Soderbergh was surprised her voice wasn’t deeper and did a little post work because he felt her natural voice would be distracting. But I’ve never seen that confirmed.

I don’t feel like Crisis On Infinite Earths is meant to be fun. At least not in a body-swapped Oliver and Barry kind of way.

The DC Universe to CW strategy for Stargirl isn’t that different from Bob’s Burgers airing on Fox one day and then going to Hulu the next. The only real difference is the people paying for a streaming service get it first, and the ones paying for cable get it second.

I reminds me of The Leftovers, or at least the television version (haven’t read the novel), where it’s less about the event and more about the people who live in the aftermath of the event.

Love the idea of Oliver becoming the Spectre, but couldn’t they have cast a redhead to play Corrigan? Also, in a perfect world this all ends with the seven paragons forming the Justice League.

The Spectre needs a human host to keep him in check. After Corrigan, there was a period when the Spectre was free to operate without restrictions and the results were not good. Crispus Allen (no relation) became his host around Infinite Crisis.

Famous Men Who Never Lived is fantastic. Probably the best thing I read all year, definitely the best book I read that came out this year.

Was never a big Smallville fan, but I loved the Welling/Cryer scene. Superman giving up his powers is right out of Alan Moore’s Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow? which (if I recall correctly) came out shortly before Crisis. Also loved that Lex knows the Clark Kent of that Earth is Superman and the Kara Danvers

Jason is Superman & Lois’ son in Superman Returns.

This trailer is the answer to the question “How do you make a movie with Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd that I don’t want to see?”

Not interested in this film, but it seems weird to point to Roach’s work as a comedy director with Austin Powers but not his other current-events-in-the-political-sphere HBO films Recount and Game Change at all.

My guess on Oliver: yes, he’s really dead. BUT somehow Old Man Ollie will end up joining the team to keep Stephen Amell involved in the action. Why else have baby Jonathan fly to an alternate version of Star City 2049 (besides to clean up the continuity error of Oliver still being alive there when Arrow’s

Right? We also went from S2 where Amazo is the name of Ivo’s ship to S7 where the heroes fight an actual super powered robot called Amazo.

As a fan of Connor Hawke’s solo Green Arrow series where he and Eddie Fyres travel the country getting into adventures, this episode presented a real bittersweet “What if?” for me.

Fyres was the first villain though, so having him back for this episode made sense. Still hoping for a Slade appearance before this is all over, I can’t believe they’d sign off without one more Ollie & Slade scene.

Hannibal is another great example.

Agreed, my only complaint with episodes 1-7 was that they seemed to be wasting Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Do not cast Cadillac from The Get Down and then make him boring!

I loved Omega Men! You don’t need to read anything else before starting it.

I was so ready for this comic. 1) I love N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth Trilogy. 2) I’ve dug pretty much all of the Young Animal series to date. 3) My favourite character is ‘any Green Lantern who isn’t Hal Jordan’.
