Same here. I'm actually enjoying season 2 more this time around.

I just assumed she'd be Phylicia Rashad.

Good call. I was just going off Ryan Murphy's tendency to reuse actors in all of his projects.

I was going to say Tessa Thompson based on the "Denise Huxtable" line in Dear White People, but this makes more sense. And I assume Cuba Gooding Jr. would be Bill Cosby.

American Crime Story: The Cosby Show

Getting anybody to watch TBS on a Saturday night?

Totally agree. I guess they thought goofy Wayne Security inventions would carry a lot of the comedic weight.

There were a couple of really solid episodes, mostly ones that leaned hard into the DCU setting instead of trying to be Better Off Ted with generic superheroes. If the corporate retreat episode is that last one that gets aired, at least they went out on a high note (and a good end point for Emily's quest to win over

That's pretty much what Powerless was pitched as, except they were on the insurance end of things. Somewhere along the line it was retooled into the characters working for Wayne Security.

Shame, it was getting better with each episode. Although I'm still annoyed that Crimson Fox didn't have a French accent.

Does this mean she'll be too busy for a Norma Bates prequel series?

I wouldn't say no to this (I believe they wanted him for Spectre, but he turned them down because it was for the henchman role and not Blofeld, so we know he's on the producers' radar) but I'd slightly prefer David Oyelowo for 007.

My philosophy is they've done this 12 times now without screwing it up, so I'm pretty sure whoever gets it will be good to great.

I liked the movie, but they didn't really give him a lot to do. Although it looks like he'd play a bigger role in the sequel. Still, he's been my choice since 2009 and I will keep suggesting him until he gets the role or the show ends.

He's the first person to be suggested that I've thought "I can see it." There are much more interesting options out there, but I wouldn't have a problem with him.

Plus it sounds like she has a current gig. At least the Kris Marshall rumour makes a bit of sense in that he left his last show around the time Capaldi announced his departure.

Still think Chiwetel Ejiofor would be the best choice. He wasn't famous enough when Tennant left, and was too famous when Smith did, but since Hollywood can't seem to figure out what to do with him post 12 Years A Slave maybe the time is right now.

Yes, that's Susan. I love that the only photos on his desk are his wife and his granddaughter.

Loved this episode as an intro for a new companion (Bill is great) and a soft reboot to make the show more accessible to new viewers. Loved the photos of River and Susan on his desk, and the cup full of sonic screwdrivers (which is how I will display my collection going forward). Loved the visit to the Dalek/Movellan

I think it's a bit of both, but also a desire to keep her supporters out of your Twitter mentions when they search her name.
