Well, it's mostly the end of season 4 that was quite overdrawn and ridiculous. But the characters still work well, so... Wesley gets really better by season 3, but then again that's mostly my perception. In any case, it's entirely worth it, since you get to watch season 5, which is probably Joss Whedon's best season

Yep, season 1 and the beginning of season 2 are a bit of a drag. But after that, Angel gets a lot better, Wesley improving by miles. Season 4 is ickish, but season 5 is absolutely amazing.

The Hindenburg was full of hydrogen, not helium. Helium is an inert gas, so it can't catch fire.

The article, before it was corrected.

That's quite alright! ^^ You're perfectly right about the need for amendments, though...

The article did actually said that he died of smallpox until it was corrected.

I wonder when Martin Luther will post 95 theses on his church's Tumblr ?

Hah, I just saw this movie the other night at a festival. Except for those great-looking creatures, it's everything wrong with found-footage these days. Not even fun to watch.

It's in Switzerland, so it's probably a safe bet to say that the bunker is still used by the military. Some Swiss firms, like RUAG, actually make quite a lot of ammo, so some of the bullets used for the shot might have already been there.

One of the first, and one of the best. Written by an 18-year-old during a rainy vacation, it helped to launch the genre. We owe a lot to Mary Shelley...

I suppose a lot of it is downloaded by Swiss Guards, as the title in German would indicate...

It's produced by Gaumont for Canal+, a French satellite channel, so it's basically like cable. I don't think any broadcast network would show it since it would not be an exclusive thing.

The town is called Basle in the article, but its name is generally written as Basel nowadays. It's in Switzerland, as the "Helvetic" in the name of the book might suggest.

The English spelling, complicated? Blimey, it's nothing compared to French.

It's Greedo.

I saw this one IRL, since I live and study near the museum where the Jacquet Droz automata are kept, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The region was (and still is) famous for its watch and clock-making industry, and many wonderful pieces are kept in our museums...

The best one, in my opinion.
