I scrolled all the way down just to see how much it would cost. Thinking it would be something ridiculous like $80, I was happy to see it being an affordable $34... until the lack of charging and video.

Why would Apple ever spend their money developing and building these options into their computers when they can remove them, thus saving money, then collect licensing money from companies who go out of their way to provide the same options that were removed?

I’m struggling with this, too. 99% of my connectivity woes stem from my shitty Comcast modem, never my router. If these hubs were also packing a cable modem I’d already have one.

i have a hard time thinking these will sell right now, non-tech people will just stick with whatever they get from the internet provider. Tech people will buy a linksys, asus, D-link or whatever AC router they can get. Who will buy this? The linksys ac1900 is around $180 and has everything you could need.

Why did Google come out with two similar devices priced $20 apart, made by 2 different manufacturers, with the key difference being....hand waving? I just don’t get it.
