I not really trying to defend them here, but tons of online reading apps use coin payment structures. I've seen tons of Chinese and Korean webtoon apps that already do that. So they are probably just following the market. I guess that just means the whole market sucks.

I mean, sure for websites you frequent the most. But 90% of your internet browsing is going to be articles and pages you’ll only look at once or twice. That means your cache is going to be full of images for pages you don’t care about at all.

The changes to GTA Online are stuff that the community has been asking for for ages, and will make the game something I can just recommend to people. It will fix the game. I still can’t believe they’re finally doing invite only sell missions.

I think that might just be a bias error from there being so many star wars fans in general. Of course one of the largest fandoms in history also has one of the largest toxic groups.

I’m fine not having a problem with a thing existing. But it is a problem when it costs 60 bucks. 20 dollars? a monthly fee? there are more reasonable ways to offer this product.

There are whole businesses devoted to reading laws and summarizing them for congress critters and other government officials.
