It shouldn’t be. Honestly the VRR thing confused the hell out of me, because what I understood about the technology was that it was source independant. If your tv supports VRR, it should just work with whatever source you provide it with. So I don’t get why Sony needs to add support for the feature.

Companies get to avoid having benefits, and the agency gets easy desperate labor, that they can dump the moment anything goes "wrong", without any blowback on contracting company

I dunno. Activision has tons of valuable IP. The company was in the ditch stock wise. Blood was in the water, it was inevitable that someone would gobble them up. And the moment that happens, stocks go up. It’s not a stupid bet to make.

from what i understand, since it’s all code anyways, you can run custom contracts that activate the moment someone interacts with an nft, and cause it to act on code that starts moving their nft to other accounts.

I dunno, looks like the standard allows the ability to allow 3rd parties token movement permissions.

I suspect they’re using “phishing attack” pretty liberally, since this was probably done by giving the users’ wallets an nft that when manipulated executed the new contract.
