I guess we should just turn charity auctions into auctions then, since all people really want is to buy the stuff.

I just don’t see it. The barrier to entry lowering on indie game making is fairly recent, while normal person access to video recording is all the way back in the 90's (i feel so old). You start including all the other countries in this, and I think it’s really easy to say that more movies have been made than video

Yeah, they’re still making movies. And trust me, for every game you’ve never heard of being made, there are 4 movies you never knew existed. Human beings are in credibly good at remembering things of note, good or bad, but if it’s mediocre? Lost to time, and VHS/DVD bins.

I find supreme disappointment in seeing a game set in a game series that I loved the crap out of, that I can just taste the board room in every choice made in it’s development, seemingly ignoring every single thing about the original games that made people love them. Who is this game for? Why is it named Dark

In America, I’ve seen video ads at gas station pumps for at least the last five years, if not more.

Chess is considered a sport by the international Olympic committee.

Steel Battalion was a gimmick, and highly disappointing in actual use. Half of the buttons were for startup, and didn’t actually do anything, other than a QTE at the beginning of the mission. I expected a game where I’d have to be managing heat by turning off parts of my systems, etc etc, and what I got was a really

Or they could actually work with the content providers who are using this conference for PR, and actually work with the streaming platforms to prevent dmca takedowns of the event so that their audience can enjoy all the free PR streamers would put towards it. Instead of acting like there is nothing they can do, and

I’m 100% fine with it as well. :P

I’m not saying that DC is not dumb, but ignoring the second paragraph right after the one you quoted is a little misleading:

Seeing as it’s due to popular demand, and it was so out of left field for capcom, they’re only starting it now, i suspect the dlc is lady dimitrescu related, since her popularity sure seemed to surprise the heck out of capcom

Please stop breaking my heart.

All this does is put even more of a spotlight on how messed up digital rights are right now. Really really really dumb. Shooting yourself in the foot dumb.

My childhood was kind of nuts in retrospect. My dad used to work for Microsearch back in the day, so we always tended to have bleeding edge stuff around (I think I’m in some video toaster demo reels he made that used some of my baby photos). Also didn’t have any concerns about the content he showed me. I remember when

Yay, now I can continue to not play Overwatch with even less people!

I mean, I wouldn’t normally care, since battlefield campaigns have been meh for a while now, but the only other time battlefield went future, it also didn’t have a campaign, and lacked bot support, so that game is basically unplayable right now. So now I’m just salty. Because i”m old.

Especially when she already commented on this a year ago, when this actually first came out.

Sure, now. But in the early 2000's? That’s when RE4 was made.

Now playing

My dad was huge in video design and web design in the 90's and 2000's, so we always had a nextstep machine in the house at one point or the other, and I remember a lot of this stuff too. Lots of those cds as well. I always liked listening to the soundbank cds myself.

I recently watched a video talking about how tons of textures in video games come from a small sampling of texture cd’s from the 90's and free samples included on next and cgi workstations.
