Fair enough. Through I wouldn’t equate the dark worlds of SH2 and SH1/3. Kind of a different ball game. Silent Hill 1/3, teh Dark World is actively invading the real world, where in 2, it’s judgement purgatory land.

The darkness in hearts thing is all western canon. if you’re going by silent hill 2, all those people being tortured are actual murderers. I won’t hold that totally against downpour if I just consider it it’s own thing.

Downpour is definitely the best of the american made silent hills, but man is it full of problems. The actual gameplay is kind of a cluster-****. So many accidentally thrown weapons, hard crashes, fps slowdnown, etc.
