I love that off screen glove toss at the end. That’s all folks!

It’s funny, while I don’t disagree with her, I always had problems with her examples. They tended to show a surface level understanding of the games she was critiquing.
We’re in active operations in Afghanistan. Generals have command authority to make those decisions.
It literally is semantics. That’s what you are trying to talk with me about. The meaning of words and their interpretation.
I keep saying it. The example you gave. That the cops were trying to make a big showy event, to impress upon the kid and the mother, to get their act straight.
Don’t give me that stride stuff. It’d be like me saying that Hillary should of stayed out of the 2008 primaries, because Obama was the first viable black candidate. It’s the whole reason why we vote in the first place. I don’t agree with all of HIllary’s policies, so I voted for Bernie in the primaries. I don’t agree…
Please stop. We are arguing about the sematics of a word, instead of what you actually said. I meant visual like a big showy event, like you were just talking about.
The DNC and Clinton did plenty to demonize themselves. Even leaving out the Russian leaking of DNC emails, they ignored whole swaths of voters who they assumed they just “had in the bag”.
Yeah, but his supporters are no reason to demonize Sanders. I mean, I’m a Sanders supporter and delegate and I still voted for Hillary in the main election. You can talk to me right now. I’ve been wanting to talk the whole time. But the screaming tends to drown out the rational conversation, and it turns off…
You’re the one who said:
No. I’m saying that visually punishing someone with a disability months later as an attempt at a wake up call, is not an effective way to teach someone not to be violent. Especially when their violence is something they can’t control well because of their disability.
It’s this kind of stuff that turned so many people away from Hillary.
What? That their son was disruptive in class, and that one of their staff is pressing charges? I’m pretty sure that’s absolutely appropriate.
Except the part where the school invited him and his mother on false pretenses. Or even telling her about the warrant for her sons arrest If a staff member lodges a criminal complaint against a student, I’m pretty sure it’s the obligation of the staff to tell the family. If this was an actual problem, they would of…
I want to die a little inside every time I hear “Video Game Addiction”, like it’s something special. It’s just addiction. People get addicted to things they like. I work as a barn manager, and I see people hopelessly “addicted” to their animals, and riding, to the detriment of both themselves, their horse, and their…
“It is already causing a disturbance in the states that have made it legal.”
Honestly, I’m not siding with either. I think it’s incredbly stupid that many of the farmers pushed for Trump, when his anti-immigration policies were obviously going to interfere with their livelyhoods.
No, my opinion is that it’s more likely that there is an entitlement issue here. That white people think and feel that such backbreaking work is beneath them, and that they likely wouldn’t take it, no matter how much it paid or how desperate they were. Our culture puts a lot of emphasis on your job, and your position,…
The LA article quotes a farmer as saying that he can only raise wages so much (and at 14-19 dollars an hours, that’s pretty high. That’s tech work wages), before it becomes impossible for him to do business. So something’s not working here.
First article has the stuff about government wages.
