My issue is that with the whole pausing thing, it’s no longer “Can twitch beat dark souls?” it’s just “How long will it take Twitch to beat Dark Souls”, which just isn’t nearly as interesting to me.

When did video for reviews become “promotional” material? Half of this stuff seems like it doesn’t even apply to the game. I mean, if the Dutch League asks for the box to the game back, do you have to give it immediately?

I’m still waiting for the Xbox One controls to port over to PC, I’ve tried playing the game with a HOTAS joystick, xbox controls, mouse and keyboard, and I have just been unable to play well with the starter lasers, and have been unable to make much headway into the game, solo or not. So I couldn’t tell you either way.

They defintely mention multiplayer in the kickstarter video. I double checked. I also found it weird that they mentioned the japanese leads so much, but were unable to get ANY footage of them for the kickstarter video?

I’ve agreed with everything here except the batcave stuff. There was the wayne tower stuff, and the more thematically appropriate panessa theatre. (I’m not going to spoil why). There is a very good story and character reason why Batman never goes back to Wayne Manor in the game until the very end.

See, I didn’t fund this for the same reason I didn’t fund that spirtual successor to Tie-fighter that was being kickstarted a while back. Watched the video, heard them mention pvp (or online dogfighting only in the tie-fighter case), and was instantly like, I don’t want this.

I could beat any game if I could pause it at any moment and set up my inputs like this. At this point it’s just a communal tool assisted speed run. (without the speed. :P) It still feels like cheating to me.

Score system in the game is alot better now, you can s-rank being murderous because the time bonuses are so good, while being stealthy and interrogating guys gives enough points that you can still s-rank if you don’t get a time bonus.
