The entrenchment that happened kind of surprised me. I’m way too much of a true crime addict, and really appreciated the access the community had to source files in this case, but the community itself . . . oof. It was Verdun in pixels.

How does that sub compare to the Serial one? (I came late to Serial but got thoroughly hooked, and was around to watch the descent into Hot Mess prior to Season 2 starting.)
Pretty sure it was Sword, yeah. If Book 2 is worth it, maybe I grit my teeth and slog through 1.
Help me, io9-Kenobis:
Apocalypse-in-the-Cartoon scared the *crap* out of me when I was a kid. Turns out he still does.
Eh, I’m an old friend of Cati’s from the LJ dark ages. Been around Dragon Con and Rogue fandom for centuries (centuries? yeah, prob centuries. old school Allston fangirl.)
Hey Ursus, when you get a chance, can you look at pulling chaosbria out of the greys? She’s def one of us.
Wait, you’re still greyed? That won’t do. (I know who you are from SW fandom.)
Truth.
Oh, I didn’t realize they got pulled over to Science Mart . . .
Coulson can definitely handle it.
I suspect kinja’s borked —lots of Niners are grey now, too.
Damn it man, because of you I now know I can’t *actually* breathe coffee.
Esther and Mika are why I bothered to get a Giz follow.
How trippy must it have been to be like, “Whelp, gotta remember to wipe the moon dust off my feet! Don’t wanna track mud in!”
Whew. I watched the trailer and *really* liked it—definitely didn’t expect to see so many boos down here. To me, it looked like Superheros Doin’ What Superheroes DO. (And Jubilee! I love Jubilee.)
My friends have had a “Care and Feeding of Antis” (huh, that sounds better with my real name) in the works for years—they often joke about adding new chapters or coaching up new crew.
Y’know, I really liked this one. The overall plot was meh, because I’m allergic to moralizing, but *loved* Eliot vs The Bouncer (geek throwdowns FTW), and Ezekiel was everything I like about the character with remarkably little of the irritating. (That little “awww” from him when Cassandra was on his shoulder? *melt*)
Oh, that’d be good. Wes and Hobbie running through the streets of DC, leaving destruction in their wake, taking charge when a delicate political disaster strikes.
I don’t know what you’re talking about. Me, I’m typing from under the bed just ‘cause I like it. It’s cozy down here.
