And if you don’t eat your meat, you can’t have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?

Maybe this is more about you than everyone else.
If your goal is to ‘encourage’ Dems who supported Bernie to make sure Trump doesn’t win by getting on board with HRC, then denigrating and insulting them is not a very effective strategy. Make your case and leave it at that, without rudeness. It’s your best shot.
The year the woman was running? Hillary ran before as have other women.
So, being unfair is not unfair and being the DNC chair means you should more or less openly favor the perceived frontrunner, to make this whole process as undemocratic as possible? Uhmm, got it.
I do not think the private email server investigation is a sexist attack.
The security thing is an odd angle, I think. I’ve worked for the federal government before, and there’s nothing similar to the Yahoo security questions thing if you forget your password or something. State department emails are behind tons and tons of firewalls and are encrypted and, I would think, much more secure…
Some choice excerpts:
Despite personally not finding this story compelling, I think HRC needs to get out in front on this story. Make a clear statement. Talk about cyber security more generally, ect.
She’s wanted to be president for years. I can’t understand why she even did this. She had to know people would use this during the campaign. I mean it’s not on the level of shooting people in the face, but why go looking for trouble.
So if she’s disliked simply because she’s a woman, then how can you have any honest discussion about the numerous reasons she shouldn’t be President? At the end of the day, you can dismiss all arguments as “Well of course they’d say that, she’s a woman”. It can’t possibly be because of her handling of this email…
It’s very hard to both acknowledge that Clinton’s popularity is mired by sexist attitudes about women in public life, and that there are also other reasons why folks distrust her or dislike her. If you bring up one of these points, people tend to hit you over the head with the other fact, as if they can’t both be…
“Bernie bros” were hired by Clinton’s campaign to troll the internet and be gross. The label also allows anti-bernie folk to minimize his supporters’ diversity.
berniebros doesn’t not equal ‘bernie supporter’. berniebro = asshole who supports sanders.
YESSS. All of this. How are we to even know that current “berniebros” are actually real? We don’t. The Clinton campaign also started the Obama birther conspiracies, and now she acts like even criticizing the president’s policies is a sin. That is scary to me.
The “Berniebro” thing squicks me out too after I learned the Clinton campaign hired tons of people specifically to go be pro-bernie trolls all over the internet. A lot of this problem was manufactured by Clinton’s team (not ALL of it, but enough that it turned the press).
No kidding, I’m appalled at the number of stars that got.
Not thinking Sanders is a feminist seems a bit strange, his platform is extremely feminist. He’s been fighting for equal rights for all people his entire life. Is this a case of obnoxious bernie supporters tarnishing their candidate’s rep?
“Berniebros are just Trump supporters that don’t hate minorities, they still hate women though”
I will most likely go to the polls this November and cast a vote for Hillary, but not very happily. That bums me out too because voting for the first woman president should be exciting but it’s just not, for her. I don’t support neoliberal policy or war.
