Is it just me to expect a stripped interior when I see an R badge on a Porsche? Or perhaps instead of “Race” the R stands for “Rare”?

I’m frequently on this stretch of the 5 and it’s not unusual for a car to be traveling 20mph less than the flow of traffic. I’m guessing the dude in the Challenger was going way faster than 85, but still, there are plenty of idiots who can’t seem to keep up with the speed limit, let alone the flow of traffic.

Number one lesson when riding in a pack is to WATCH YOUR LINE. This guy didn’t and I’m certain he regrets it and takes responsibility.

My thoughts exactly.

Something about the understated restraint with which you write tells the world you have many years of experience driving a high HP vehicle on cold race tires.

This answers a lot of the questions I had after seeing pics on FB and IG. Happy you’re ok, man!

You honestly think if a Ford Focus RS was to kick the crap out of an M235i that BMW would just cower and run away? Hell no. They’d come back with a version the following year and we’d have a good old fashioned war on our hands that’d bring all kinds of vicious cars to dealerships (in small quantities).

This is why no one gives a shit about racing anymore. Winning has nothing to do with the car. And when an ALMS Corvette has less HP than stock Corvette so that Porsche can compete, only the truly deranged care.

More HP would only make the Scrambler more fun—just as long as the curb weight remains the same. Look no farther than the 1299/959 to see how more power does not always equal more weight.

I’ll take any lightweight sports car over a slumbering SUV in this test. No need for a head on collision when you can avoid it with a quick steering input.

20 min. ago they were in Nice, but this is Monaco.

Dr. King would be so proud.

Having lived in LA for some time, the sheer stupidity of most drivers can turn even the nicest people into raging lunatics. Driving anywhere is a daily exercise in trying to restrain the kind of outrage that results from sheer and complete incompetence (drivers tooling at 20 under the speed limit, not knowing how to

The Scramblarabia, gets my vote.

To understand the speed in a slightly different way:

Take this same argument and apply it to all other aspects of a car and you’ve nailed the reason why a 73 911 RS will cost more than a 991 GT3, why an F40 will cost more than a 458. It’s not simply a matter of scarcity and it surely isn’t a matter of lap times.

This is so wonderfully wrong. Just seeing him accelerate like a Z06 by doing nothing more than letting out the clutch at idle goes to show you how suicidal this bike was! Maybe by catching on fire it saved someone’s life.

From a riding/performance perspective, how does the XDiavel compare to the Diavel?

First no new news about the 2017 Altima, and now no pictures of the next Tesla? Man, first world problems are no joke. For reals.
