JACK LUKEMAN (its an irish radio thing)

Just finished this a year and a bit later…
…(damn Lost Catch up)…. this was just an amazing show and one of the reasons TV is where it is today….. Absolute Class.

Seemingly…
…english funny man Peter Serafinowicz is in this too, which makes it something i will watch and laugh at…. Hopefully at the same time…

So Very Sad….
I've listened to Sparklehorse since I first heard 'Hammering the Cramps' on a new music cassette I got free with the UK's Select Magazine in 1995…'Vivadixie…' was the soundtrack to my second year of college…. This is crazy sad news…..

I miss Keaton…
…in a 'there was so much ability there' kinda way….there was that scene in Batman where he's trying to say 'I'm Batman' to Vicki Vale, and practicing it while she goes to answer the door that kind of took me out of the movie; in a good way for him, and in a bad way for the movie…. and then it runs out

sorry, bloody keyboard slippped
TV - all 12 episodes of Life on Mars, especially the last one.

across the spectrum…..
Music: - The opening Chords to Drive on Automatic for the People
the first time I heard 'the Bends'
The madness of 'Vivadixiesubmarinetrasnmissionplot'

Me too…. us shy peeps need to be supported…

damn….
This is hard as a 2HB pencil……

Hells yeah…coincidentally, have been singing 'Dishes' all week…."This is Hardcore' is one of those albums that changed music for me…..

Despite being a huge Bottom and Ade A fan, my girlfiend had never got around to seeing the whole of the Young Ones, so we recently revisited….

Finally Someone mentions Bottom…no clever clever, and not even the true surreal of the Young Ones either; just puerile, slapstick fun….great stuff….

I saw Gang of Four a few years ago at a fest in Ireland…..Good Jesus they were entertaining…being a big R.E.M. fan and follwoing influences, GO4 and Wire (and even a few of the later new wave bands like the Replacements) are something I would really appreciate…

Listening to whole thing at the moment….Moment of Surrender COMPLETELY steals vocal line from 'Southern Accents' by Tom Petty.
