Thank you *so much* for picking this up. I saw the headline at CNN.com and nearly did a spit-take all over my computer. I then read the article and I just went, "I can't wait for Jezebel to get wind of this." Seriously, it's a totally worthless "study" and article, not to mention offensive in its implications. Sigh.
