Behold. This homeless man also got tonnes of media attention and was reunited with his family because women find him attractive.

Agreed. He should have gone to Ford Models or Wilhemina or something. He's so good looking I think he could get representation on his looks alone even without all the internet hype surrounding him.
I live in South Africa and you're right, crime is a part of every day life here that you can't ignore. Although I've never been personally affected, a lot of people who I know have been affected and it does make you feel nervous and unsafe at times. With that being said, almost every house in decent suburbs in South…
Agreed. For the same reason, I have no problem commenting (negatively or positively) on someone's hair, make-up or clothing. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think of it as "shaming" - it's just an opinion on something that someone chooses to put on their body.
You put it perfectly.
Yeah, no. If any of my friends actually expected me to expose my arse in their wedding photos I would decline being their bridesmaid. I have no problem with my arse or being in a bikini, but why should I lift my dress and stick out my arse? No thank you.
I agree with you 100%.
Yep, the parent does get final say. But it would be unusual for a parent to force an unwilling child into this situation because it would be very difficult to get them to act for the camera and the producers would likely just go to a family who has a willing child.
Child performers are paid into a fund that they can access when they are 18. When it's a child actor, a portion will usually go to the parents and the rest into a fund. In this case, the entire family is on TV so they are all getting paid.
If they're on the show they're getting paid. The Teen Moms make around $5 000 per episode and everyone in each episode is getting paid - The boyfriends, the parents, the friends, etc.
I think it's similar for all those Teen Moms. With the amount they're getting paid per episode/season, do you really think they need to struggle trying to balance a job, finishing their education and raising their kid? But people don't want to watch a super-rich teen girl partying and living the life while the nannies…
She chose to make her worth about her beauty. I'm sure her close friends and family see worth in her beyond her looks, but why should I? She hasn't done a single thing that I have any respect for and her entire income is based on her appearance. There is literally no other standard to hold her to except how she looks…
She's pretty. But those eyes tell too many stories of crazy for me to "would".
I don't think anyone is trying to make excuses for her, but her method of abuse and reasoning plus her crazy eyes does make me wonder if there's drug abuse or mental illness involved.
It's so sad. When I first saw the photo I started giggling because it's just so funny looking. When I read why it looks the way it does, I felt really bad.
I keep thinking about the mother. I can't even imagine. I would want to rip my husband to shreds, but knowing that it was a mistake makes it so much more complicated.
I'm finding it so damn hard to care about this. It's his fucking DMV photo.
For my passport I had to go in with no visible eye make-up, no "facial or ear accessories" (piercings, glasses, etc), have my hair tucked behind my ears and look straight into the camera like a wet piece of cardboard.
Then maybe teaching men some goddamn self control would stop the victim from being raped.
I think that in certain situations a woman dressed in sweats and a sweatshirt is less likely to be raped than one dressed for a night clubbing.
