He wasn't making fun of the concept of rescuing an animal. He was making fun of the holier-than-thou attitude some people adopt because they've rescued an animal.

I agree with everything you wrote, but there's one more thing that I'm really surprised no one has mentioned yet: Her plastic surgery.
I don't think it was exclusively for her surgery.
My boyfriend and I don't live together, but if I spend "too many" consecutive days at his house, when I get home I'll sit on the internet until 5AM because I've missed so much internet.
I feel like it would have been better if she had accidentally ran her over. The way it was felt so convoluted and you're right, Rosa's hatred for Vee was waaay out of whack for how much they actually interacted
Yes! That's exactly it! The only time the hooch was even mentioned was once, I think in the lunch line when Vee tried to convince her to start selling it. That was it. In her backstory she was ready to pull a gun on someone, are we really expected to believe she suddenly needs to get drunk to get tough?
"Do I hear light jazz?" killed me
If that happens I'll probably stop watching. I'm hyperdistrustful of Jenji Kohan since Weeds. Sending Fig to Litchfield seems like a Kohan thing to do. No, please.
Poussey's backstory and Morello's present-story made me WEEP.
When watching this, all I could think about was Weeds. God, I loved Weeds until the fourth season, then I kind of dragged myself through the last 4 seasons just for closure.
Exactly what I was thinking. It reeks of jealousy. I'm not phased one way or another, but if someone's gonna comment on it, it shouldn't be her.
I assume the remaining band members have a say (if not complete control) regarding who they play with, and if they all like and respect Lorde then I don't see why it was inappropriate. If they all like her music, I don't think it's such a a stretch to imagine Cobain would too.
Ooh, sorry for not taking your side on the playground.
From the characters I've seen Christa Miller play, I wouldn't expect any different from her. And I kind of love it.
When I was younger, I was at a friend's house with a few people there who I didn't know. One of them brought out a home-made bong and we were passing it around... Suddenly, I felt that my pants were wet... I looked down and they were wet.
I've seen someone write something similar on Jezebel a while ago regarding her being annoyed with her kid (perhaps it was you, haha)
I love avocado and I love poached eggs. But the two together should never, ever happen.
Seriously? Blue is the Warmest Colour was declared the best movie of 2013.
This is such a great reply.
I still can't drudge up any sympathy for her.
