I guess if money was no object I would say the RR Corniche from that era.

I still love these. The interior with the wrap around dash is so unlike any other buicks of the era.
My interlock absolutely picked up mouthwash.
Nevermind, I guess I should have read further lol
Looks like one of the presidential yachts has been converted to a restaurant. https://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/editorial-features/basrah-breeze-saddam-hussein-yacht
Given the prices of other Cadillacs (and Lincolns) both of this era and through the 80s this is absolutely a nice price. I’m not sure I’d choose this year if I was shopping Seville’s as I like the slick top and RR grill look, but this car is going to sell fast.
I’m currently rocking an LS430 combined with a 135i. We also have a 2020 Tacoma that is providing the utility. I like to think my garage is perfectly dialed into my household’s needs.
I could have sworn SLK stood for sportlich, leicht and kompakt (rather than kurz). Essentially the same thing, so it’s mostly a semantic argument.
If the seller has all the service records, and the top does indeed work, then it certainly seems like a nice price.
The price is probably right, but why not take new photos?
I guess I don’t know how to price this, but the rusted out spare tire well scared me off.
Former owner of a Cadillac with a Northstar engine, and I can relate.
My white whale would be the 1990 Mitsubishi Galant GSX or ‘91 and later VR4. I had a GSX and I loved that car.
I love the reverse tilt mirrors! I also do a fair bit of parallel parking. I find them very helpful to get as close to the curb as possible without messing up my wheels.
The price might be a little high, but not much considering what else is available out there. Especially if you absolutely need a manual transmission. I’d want a very thorough inspection by a mechanic to check for any issues related to the accident.
If I were to buy a DeVille of this generation I’d get one after the 1989 refresh.
Oh yeah, they had a whole think about the philosophy of that car or whatever. Also, the luxury was in the car itself and not the wood and chrome like those other loser flagships. They fixed that for the second gen.
Is that guy still the owner? Oh, he’s dead. Then who cares?
With that in mind I would probably change my vote to a slight NP.
An overabundance of humans in the US, mostly. The actual impact of humans on the environment on a per capita basis in third world countries is far lower.
