The Escalade one is interesting, because I clearly remember my college ex’s father shopping Yukon Denalis and ended up with the Escalade simply because the prices were so similar so why not go for the Caddy. I don’t think that is the case these days with Cadillac and GM really positioning the Escalade up-market.

Or the leaking oil will cause the serpentine belt to slip off, which can potentially get pulled into the engine.

I bought my used 135i with the n55 motor, and a common issue is an oil leak from the oil filter housing gasket. My car lost some oil on the 17 hour drive from where I bought it, so I brought it to my local shop that works on imports, letting them know I think it’s the OFHG. It’s a TRD Sport, and the average listing I’ve seen for those of the same year and similar miles is about $37k, so we’ll at minimum buy it at the end of the lease.

But how many miles are on them?  Perhaps the owners of a Lexus put less miles on than an owner of a Toyota.  

I guess maybe because LS drivers don’t put as many miles on their cars it doesn’t show up.

Oh, absolutely.  There’s one for sale in my area that’s a clone with similar miles for $42k lol.

We leased a Tacoma in May of 2020. My partner hardly drives, so an ultra low mileage lease had a really good monthly payment compared to financing a $43k vehicle. Now that his lease is coming up in 6 months and his buyout is only $30k he’ll probably take the deal even though we aren’t really in love with the truck.

I think it is 300-500 lbs.

Can’t agree more with regards to the Tacoma.  Maybe it’s because we got it after having an X5.  It does what it should and that’s about all I can say about it.

This is arguably the best looking Camry.  For me to buy one it would have to be dark green with tan leather inside.  Ideally a wagon.  Even then, not at this price.  You could buy a nice LS430 with a little over a 100k miles on it and enjoy it for at least 150k more.  No dice.

A tentative nice price based on how the battery is holding up.  I know someone who replaced the battery in their’s to the tune of $7k.  It’s funny, these looked like nothing else on the road until Toyota released the Echo, which looked almost identical.
