We bought a 2020 Tacoma last spring, and I’m seeing 2020s on autotrader with similar mileage as ours listed for more than we paid. Apparently it’s an appreciating asset at this point.
I’m curious what that seat back button between the seat heater buttons does.
Looks like it’s covered in snirt that collects on the rear windows of long-roof vehicles during the winter. Looks like the wiper hadn’t been run recently to clear it.
BMWs drive great, but accepting that you’re going to have to deal with $1k+ repair bills on a car with fewer than 100k miles doesn’t sit right with me. And I say this as the current owner of a BMW.
There is one of these rolling around my town. I knew they were somewhat rare, but $25k still seems too high for this truck. Definitely interesting, and the only only thing wrong is the price.
I drive 80 miles a day for my commute, and I estimate my car uses between 1/8 and 1/4 per day so I figure if I have less than a quarter I fill up on my way to work, but if I’m right at a quarter I’ll fill up on my drive home or the next morning in which case the light is usually on. Rarely do I go until my range says…
My current daily driver is a 2005 LS430 with 238,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2015 when it had 109,000 miles on it. Only money I’ve had to put into it are maintenance items. I changed all the fluids, plugs, pcv valve, and cleaned the throttle body at around 120k and recently did the timing belt. Next up is…
You can find a great condition LS430 for that price.
Agreed. My 1L 3-cyl geo metro with a 5-speed was a blast to drive. Especially in the winter.
Nice example of a car I found interesting as a teen. I’d consider it for maybe half that amount, but really it would need to be around $2500 for me to say nice price.
That’s good to know!
As a city planner, I am working to update the code at my City to require garages be wired with a 240V outlet. I can’t imagine it really adds all that much cost to new construction.
Hell, I own a home, but the electricity going out to the garage is buried and we’ve put a lot of time and labor into the landscaping in our backyard (retaining walls, concrete work) that the idea of tearing it up up to run a new wire to handle a level 2 charger seems like too much trouble given our plan is to…
Even if you just wanna buy it to drive for a single summer and sell it, you’d probably get your money back if you didn’t put too many miles on it.
I have an 80 mile commute round trip on highway roads, and my next car is definitely going to be an Avalon hybrid if/when my LS430 kicks the bucket.
I called my credit union the morning before going to look at a boat, and the loan officer was like “How much? Ok, 2.75% for a term of 6 years or less, and our preapprovals are good for 3 mo.” I couldn’t believe how easy they are to work with.
The basement bedroom is ideal for staff/crew.
Was very ready to hit nice price given the work that went into it. Then I saw what is left to be done. ND.
And what exactly do you mean by “gone totally homo”? Shouldn’t you be in class, you fucking child?
