I don’t know, I’ve never actually had a push-button door handle. I imagine most people would think, “Huh, this is different.”

Shit, I’ve read manuals to cars I never even ended up buying.

I drive to Jackson Hole with my partner and a friend to go skiing every February. The drive takes about 17 hours total, and we break it up into two days. This past year, within 20 minutes of the end of the second day of a grueling journey through blowing snow we come upon a rollover accident that had occurred moments

Didn’t even look at the price.

My 2005 LS430 has this.  Between the little flap of fabric and the tiny flip down visor over the rearview mirror, I think this might be my favorite daily driver I’ve ever owned.

I was referring the timing belt replacement interval and cost.

I don’t miss the days of changing a light bulb every few months.

The LS430 has a timing belt as well.

$1,100 every 100k miles doesn’t seem that bad to me.

How often though did the left side of the J get used?  I don’t recall ever having to select a specific gear whenever I drove a Jag.

The same could be said about any BMW for that matter.  My mother in law declared that she was never driving our X5 again after the 15 second tutorial I gave her that she immediately forgot.

Lexus put a tape deck in the SC430 all the way until 2009.

What is a 2005 doing with a cassette deck?!?

Put one of these babies in my 2005 LS430.

I don’t understand how noise ordinances are never enforced for motorcycles. I’ve gotten a fix it ticket for a bad muffler and I’m sure my car was not nearly as loud as a bike with pipes.

I love Newport Beach.  My family has a place in CdM, and I can’t believe the difference a couple miles makes along PCH with regards to traffic speeds and overall feel.

South Dakota? Domestic full-size SUV or a heavy-duty pickup is my bet.

Why in god’s name should anyone worry about “what sales people respond best to”? They should be worried about what potential buyers respond to.

Ok, so it’s tough to compare vehicle brands like Mercedes and Chevy so I will use butter from your analogy. Say there is a 25% tariff on imported butter. So sure, American butter would theoretically be 25% cheaper than the imported stuff. What is to prevent the American butter producer from raising their prices 20%?

I give up, who?  Seriously.
