I’m super excited! I’m flying into Austin tonight. This will be my first time at a Formula 1 Race, so I’m pretty pumped! I’ve been to COTA a bunch of times now for V8 Supercars and WEC, but I’ve never made it out for F1. I’m really hoping I can meet up with you guys!

It always pains me to see a car like this with next to no miles on it. It means to whoever bought never got to enjoy this car like it was meant to be enjoyed. What’s the point of buying a car if you don’t use it for what it was built to do? I’ve never bought a car in my life and thought “hmmm, I probably shouldn’t be

I mean, you’re almost getting into World Rally Championship car territory there—and those are engines that just have to last long enough to finish races, not so much for years and years of muddy consumer abuse.

I’m curios to see what these will be worth once gas prices rise again and the economy crashes and no one can afford a $100k truck anymore.

Porsche: Which trim package would you like?

All the reasons you have listed are the reasons I like my WRX. I love me a turbo engine. I can appreciate large displacement NA engines, but turbos are fun to drive. I think the 5 speed in the WRX is pretty good compared to most of the stuff out there. Equipped with a short throw kit, it feels really good. I like the

Same thing happened to me. I had to get the engine in my WRX replaced at 38k miles due to a spun rod bearing. Luckily I had receipts for all my oil changes, so most of the work was covered under warranty.

I always change my oil on my WRX every 3000 miles.

That’s freaking awesome! I love it

I saw that. That’s pretty sweet. Now Subaru just needs to make one from the factory! I wish I had the money and time to swap a FA20 into a new Crosstrek.... For now my lifted WRX will ave to do!

I know they use a tarmac setup for Mt. Washington hill climb (not technically a rally stage, but the rally teams do compete). They also use the 17" Methods in RallyX, so they do have some Motorsport heritage.

Nope. I’ve had it lifted for a year and a half now, and I have had no issues up to this point.

Thanks!

No, it’s a 5010C. I love that bike!

Yeah, they are a progressive wound spring

Arizona actually. Flagstaff, Were up at 7000ft, so we get a decent amount of snow, so Subarus are the perfect vehicle!

I’m not sure what the bolt pattern on VWs is, but Method makes 17" and 18" versions of both of their rally wheels in 5x100, 5x108, and 5x114.3 bolt patterns.

I absolutely love my Methods! I’m running the MR501 VT-Spec and they have been great.
