I find this offensive! Claire's security guards NEVER step outside for a smoke. My ex used to work at Claire's and she reveled in telling stories of their catching of the daily shoplifter.

I've had a few friends work there and heard nothing but horror stories.

I have a theory that no one has ever read this book. College students read the Wikipedia entry and claim it changed their life, but I doubt anyone could get through 50 pages of a single character talking.

I assume that was all a prank, considering the topic was "I've been lied to." I can't imagine Heidecker working on Muppets or Disney making an R-rated Muppet show for HBO. Plus, them giving away his real name is suspect. They've had a running gag for weeks about Tom hating the Muppets, so I wonder if they'll build

Is it worse than Titan Maximum? That show was awful.

It was just a quick joke for a second. He was saying no one promotes the show anymore. "AV Club used to love us. Not anymore." It was clearly tongue-in-cheek, considering Philly Boy Roy was on AV Undercover last year.

If How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is your favorite movie, you deserve to be murdered. It shouldn't even be considered murder.

"Princess" is an inherently gendered word and offensive to me. Ze should be called a "Princ."

Queer is currently used as sort of a catch-all for anyone who isn't straight, so technically it could just be the Q movement, as L, G, B, and T are all considered Q. I think they tossed the Q at the end of LGBT to be the "…and the rest!"

So did anyone hear the Best Show diss AV Club last night? It was pretty funny.

This is why you never move in with anyone. Why does no one learn this lesson?

Yeah, I tend to agree with Dan on monogamy, but so often it seems like people are just cheating because they're too lazy/cowardly to break up with someone. Which I get, breaking up with someone is a lot harder than being dumped. But be an adult and just dump them.

This is very true. My favorite moment with Londo is when he begs Garabaldi to share a drink with him at the bar.

If it were just Rick, I'd assume he's a complete monster. Or being more charitable, that anyone as smart as him would find the bureaucracy of the Federation literally maddening. But it's hard to imagine Bird Person being all that evil.

My nomination would be Londo Mollari on Babylon 5.

The big difference is just how old Cash was at the time. Hearing the lyrics come from someone so close to death really changes the perspective of things.

I hadn't thought of that, but I'd love to see a courtroom drama. After all, we don't really know that the Federation are an evil Empire, do we? It's just as likely that Rick and Bird Person really were evil terrorists. Much more likely, it was a whole hell of a lot of grey areas and both sides of the war were

Good point

Oh wait. I thought we were still talking about "Yub Nub" not the Sopranos. My bad.

Yeah, it wouldn't make for very good television if the panelists all agreed with each other. That's why you get a smart, polite, funny guy like Nye to argue with whoever that braying jackass was on the other side.
